My friend is new to Diablo 2

How would I explain everything to him easily? Such as how to duel and everything for him to not get confused. Hes pretty dumb and doesnt get things fast. I want to be a duel partner with him but im just afraid hell suck because hell be comfused and everything.

We were all noobs at one point = P Just get him to learn the controls first, basic attack on left click, spells on right. Teach him how he can 'hotkey' skills, such as f1 f2, etc.

When he learns those (all while fighting in the Blood Moore/Den of Evil) you can explain the goal of Diablo to him:To LVL AND BE RICH!!! and of course to defeat the prime evils.

All said and done, just let him know a bit about duels, and tell him to stay away from people who 'hostile' him. Then you show him how to duel/what is a duel by dueling him of course! Yes,,,Dueling his lvl 12, etc. char = D. Then go play with him a lot so he'll learn the use of waypoints, tp's, item names, etc.

If he keeps it up, he'll learn quick enough.

i think that as he plays, the pieces will fall into place. it's not that hard a game to pick up

Yeah, it's like riding a bike, threw trial and error he'll figure out what to do and how the system works, when you help someone learn it either leads to 2 things, independance on you to teach them more and more, or ingrateful behaviours -.-

lol i have a friend that i just got into diablo. But he's a pretty quick learner. i just worried he will have a tough time getting rich cause i'm not rich enough to supply both of us. I can only really give him starting gear.
