Duped runes question?

I traded some guy ist mal for his cham about a week ago and i looked in my inventory today and its gone. the only explanation could be that it was duped but how long does it take for a rune to poof if it was duped?

not long if the dupe is not permmed then it can poof whenever really but when u traded also couldve been a trade scam where image of rune can be copied into the game then when u log off it dissapears ive not seen em but its possible it happened

Wow, havent seen one of those 'copy image into slot' trade hacks since 1.09 O_O, and you'd know when it was a fake image because when you open trade window, the item is instantly on the trade screen, and its unmovable.

I lost quite a few runes too, not sure how long it takes.

Dupe runes will disapear as soon as they are flaged. When you enter a game, warden (i guiess) scans all of your chars. If there is a duped rune it will be flaged for deletion after you leave the game. The only way to remove it is going into trade with someone, exiting trade, and leaving the game each time.
