WTF IS GOING ON!!! (Diablo 2)

I downloaded it today, and as soon as it downloaded the patch and everything, I tried to make a character. When I enter the screen where it shows your characters or create a character, under it says, "Your internet is working properly and/or your firewall has opened port 6112." I dont even have a firewall...

windows security center firewall maybe? and what do you meen you downloaded it today? did you acually buy the game or download it off limewire or something?

I bought the game and downloaded it. But I dont have any firewall thing popping up or anything...

well if you have service pack 2.... go to start, control panel, security center, windows firewall, exceptions, then see if diablo 2 is in there and make sure theres a checkmark beside it, and if you dont have sp2 i have no idea
