I know the formula for upping say armor but does it mean body armor or any armor. I found a pretty good rare belt but its only a light belt lol. Can i up a rare belt because i tried and it didn't work just wondering if i did something wrong or you just cant up rare belts. I'm on non ladder too btw.

uping a armor means any armor type, lem ko + some gem, its written in arreat summit -.-
Ko Rune + 1 Pul Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Exceptional Rare Armor = Elite Rare Armor
The item type is upgraded.
for ELITE rare armors
1 Ral Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Normal (Basic) Rare Armor = Exceptional Rare Armor
The item type is upgraded.
for Exceptional rare armors, make sure ur uping the right one

ok so you can up the light belt. Can you up it from normal to exeptional then form exeptional to elite?

Yes, for rare items (armor or weapons) you can up all the way to elite on both ladder and non-ladder, so yes you'll be able to up the belt all the way to vampirefang if ya want on NL.

And just to be clear, when it says "Armor" you can upgrade anything that gives defense instead of damage using the armor recipe.

He probably just means make sure you are using the basic to exceptional recipe first, and if you wish to up it to vampirefang make sure you are using the exceptional to elite recipe - it's easy to tell the ral/thul recipe is the first one you would use because the runes are lower.

Yeah like jedi said you can up belts I think its the same formula as armor. I have seen uped nosfertos belts and a few others. I am waiting to see a uped spider or verdungo. Trying to find someone with one so i can see the defence.

nosfertos, spider, dungos are all ELITE belts already, there is no way to upgrade them any further.

I once saw an upped arreats. It was a guardian crown. But it had the same defense it would if it wasn't upped because the arreats had like 3%more ed than mine and it only had a 1defsne difference than mine.
