Should I bother posting my guide here?

A while ago I wrote a guide on a new Smiter variant and posted it on another forum. Althought I'd love to share that here, I'm worried that either nobody would appreciate it, or it would be completely ignored. Seeing how often I get into certain debates with people here, my guide contains info that may seem controversial to some people, but it will also clear up a lot of things. Should I bother posting a link to it or even the whole guide here?

i've been wondering the same thing arcane...i've got a few guides i have been working on, but it doesnt seem worth the effort to post them on this site

My concern is that the guide will just sit here and collect dust, that people would not be able to tell it apart from the low quality guides that show up every few days. I expect at least some recognition for my effort.

What I'd like to point out is that --- and I do apologize if this offends anyone --- there are too many "noobs" here. People repeatedly ask the same stupid questions over and over when anyone with the least bit of experience should be able to figure it out themselves. Such people are not very likely to appreciate well-written guides, especially if they are also brainwashed by cookie-cutter builds.

Of course, there's always the option of putting a link to the guide in my sig, but then I would receive no comments on it.

you should post it. if its good, then a mod will sticky it. if its bad then it dusts. thats just how it works.

Screw it if people don't like it. You worked on a good tut and it's your opinion, they might influence you to change something but do what i do if you dont like someone, pay no attention to them whatsoever.

Alright, I'll post the guide. Hopefully it won't drop to the second page by next week or something. I'll need your comments to keep it alive at least until it gets stickied or linked to.

the good guides are usually the ones in the character sections... the ones that aren't usually end up in oblivion.

people if you want guides added just pm me with them or the thread and illl do the rest.
