Are you so self centered that you think that all statements are directed towards you? Because I'm starting to think that I should be directing that sentence at you. No, I was talking about far greater stupidity. The stupidity that lies in each and every SoaD fan. They don't know they have it, but you can't blame them, they like SoaD. It's a vicious cycle that doesn't end. People who like SoaD give the impression that most, if not all, metal people, much like myself, are in fact dipshits. I'm considered "dumb" on first impression due to long hair, black shirts, and other bull shit like that. Little do most people know I'm among the top in my class. That doesn't really mean shit, but it certainly shuts people the **** up once I prove to them how much better at life I am due to actually not being a dumbass. You do realize that people take medication when they're depressed. Obviously, there is something wrong with being depressed. Maybe you aren't clinically depressed, but just saying you are/acting like you are.... which is sorta wat emo is--sad.

Depression is not pathetic...It's true that many kids out there are pretending to be depressed and therefor making themselves depressed and probably depressing the people around them. In those cases it is a bit sad and pathetic, rather depressing eh? Depression is normally brought on by being in bad situations and it's a completely normal feeling. Some people feel it more than others and some block it out...I say those that ignore their feelings are more pathetic than those that would fake them.

In SOME ways thats right, in others it's completely wrong. Can a person like a christian song/band and not be christian at all? Yes they can, because I do like a few of the songs from christian rock. I also enjoy Cradle of Filth, complete opposites but I do enjoy both. But this is coming to being way off topic.

SoaD is an ok band, about them going emo, no. They're not. One or two songs about suicide does NOT make a band emo. Anyone ever listin to Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt? Hes not emo AT ALL, but he did do a few sad songs. You all must remember, this is all just opinion, one mans trash is anothers treasure. Same applys to music, one guys emo is anothers metal.

Manic depression or clincal depression is unnatural this is true...but feeling depressed from time to time, more than just feeling down about something, is a normal thing. I think just about everyone gets a little bit depressed atleast once in their lives. It comes with being human.
