What Kind of Scam?

I went into a game & this guy said he could dupe..& to do it he said I had to take off all my gear..& could put it in my inv or stash..just not to be wearing any of my stuff..inventory didn't have to be full..& all he had to do was kill me 17 times..& he claimed it would dupe all the stuff I was wearing..what was he trying to do? isn't a pop scam..since I wasn't wearing any of it & inventory wasn't full..

only thing I could think of is maybe he'd kill me all those times & say whoops I guess you do have to be wearing your stuff..etc..& lead into the pop scam..other than that i dunno what his scam was..

Yeah, at the last time he tells you that you need your stuff on and he kills you once more and all of your gear falls off. Also, if someone tells you they can dupe, dont belive them.

which is why im wondering why do PEOPLE BOTHER?

but I thought you needed a full inventory & you had to pick up an item instead of your corpse in order to have your corpse popped
