As some of you may know (it's not that hard to figure out) I'm from Iowa. And here in Iowa, Slipknot originated. So people, who think they know metal, seem to think that they owe themselves to Slipknot for putting Iowa on the metal map. Let me tell you guys something. No.
So Corey Taylor is friends with a few local bands that are signed to shitty Iowa labels. Right? Right. And so tonight there was a show at the House of Bricks, which is a bar that a lot of good bands, including my brother's, play at. Anyway, so Corey and this guy named Josh from On a Pale Horse (Google them, they're pretty good) decided they wanted a do a tribute to Tenacious D.
WHERE THE **** DO SLIPKNOT FANS GET OFF COMING TO A ****ING TRIBUTE SHOW TO TENACIOUS D? Half, if not all, of the ****ing people came there just to suck Corey ****ing Taylor's **** off. **** those people, dude. Corey Taylor is one of the most arrogant, ****y sons a bitches I've ever seen. Ever. The fans are worse. Whenever Corey makes "a funny" EVERY ****ING ONE had to laugh. And not because it was funny. Because they were sucking his ****.

Slipknot is alright, not one of my Top Favorites, Tool is a good band, better than Slipknot, I'm not a Die-Heart Metal Fan, I like Rock and Metal pretty much equally.
So pretty much, Slipknots Semi-Alright, but still, I wouldnt want them playing in my Town.

Anyway, I think Slipknot is great in my opinion [keyword 'in my opinion']. Corey Taylor has what I call the ability to 'screech', the band plays well, they have onstage enthusiasm and move the crowd.
But reading your post, Tool, you seem to hate them, and I'm cool with it. Although I;ve never listened to Tool before [friend offered me the cd, i denied] I cant truly give an opinion on who I would like best, so my opinion is biased! But whatever, Go Slipknot.

It's not about who's better, Slipknot or Tool, it's the fact that the majority (if not all) fans of Slipknot are mindless drones who, given the chance, would suck Corey Taylor's **** off as soon as he whipped that ****er out.
