i remember one time i was modded in halo
it was team slayer on relic. i didnt spawn for like 2 minutes and the scoreboard showed everyone on my team as dead and every time someone spawned, they immediately went to a red X. when i spawned, this guy comes out of nowhere and melees me. i go flying as far as possible until i hit an invisible wall so far away that the island was about an inch big. while i was flying away, i saw a ghost flying like a banshee around the top of the relic building.

I remeber hearing from my friends that you'd need a special harddrive that you can get on ebay, and set up your xbox to be able to configure it. The 'upgraded' xbox's usually have these I've heard.

When i say upgraded xbox's i mean its the original xbox thats been modified not xbox 360.

actually it isnt hard at all you install a new dashboard called EvoXwhich unlocks you hd drive to put files on there im going to do that soon once i get a usb drive to work with itthe only question is does xbox live detect if you have a different dashboard?

It doesnt detect it, but players do, and they report it 99% of the time.

It's called soft modding. You just replace the NEW Halo maps that are not on the cd with the modded ones. You can have banshees on Sanctuary, tanks on Warlock. Shoot one shot death. Auto Aim. Etc. It's not hard at all. I've just never brought it online because that's really gay and plus I don't own a crossover cable. IE System Link Cable.

still my firend modded my xobx and we can play halo wit no disk now (not that ive seen my xbox in 3 months) but its pretty cool
