Coh or Ormus?

I've got a 865 dusk Coh, and a 20/4 die FB Ormus. I'm guessing to use the ormus, but the 65 res and 2 skills is nice on the Coh. I'm sure the answer is obvious, just lookin for opinions.

it depends,

if ur dmg is over 20k which is good, u dont need ormus but the fcr can help

COH is better for the +2 skills and the 65 res

the ormus might give u more damage, i would try both on to see if the extra damage is worth the lower resists and defense

unless you have a e-bugged archon plate coh, go for the ormus... but i would clean it and put in a 5/5.... heh... this thread makes me so sad, it reminds me of my D2 fball sorc days. **cries**

I had the same situation the other day. My clanmate was making a fireball sorc, and I didn't know what to give him, Ormus or CoH. Finally, we decided that since he was using Pheonix instead of Spirit, his resists were really low, so we stuck to CoH. Right now, he's using:

Shako 4/4 die (trading for 5/5 atm)
+3 fire skills amu
CoH Dusk Shroud (14%ed)
Perf Eschuta 25/5 Fire
Pheonix
2xSoJ
Arach
Treks
Magefists

Torch
Anni

Fire GCs

His damage is pretty handy, I'll ask him how much it is exactly. It fell by about 2k when he took off Spirit and used Pheonix, but that does give -enemy fire resistances... Anyone know how to calculate that?

I ended up using my coh. With coh on I do more meteor dmg, but lower fb. Its not a lot dmg. Thanks for the info.

lol i love meteor. spam everywhere if u have good fcr u can usually cast one every 3 seconds, i just spam around the town and wait till people walk in and BOOM owned

I don't use meteor to duel, but the +65 res and high def from the coh are worth losing like 1.5k dmg off my fb.

also, fcr doesnt affect meteor cast rate, being its on a timer.... making wolves have a bad name -_-

i'd just like to add to what already has been said CoH would be nice because of the resistance and STR which means less to use for Spirit... if that's the shield you're using and on the other hand Ormus has 20% fcr... meaning a slightly higher change to double cast FB//Meteor though i doubt you'd use Meteor in a PK
