oldest, but working scam for torch and anni

well as the title says, il ltell you guys how to scamm people for anni or torches (i got 1 anni last night and 2 torches )

first you offer the guy a realy good offer he cant refuse like 6 bo cta

then you ask him to trade in act 5

then you either go by cain in act 5 or by nihtalaks wall (you can pick items from other side of the wall)

then when he drops first you pick up the item adn leave with torch or anni because you grabbed the item from the other side of the wall

and you can do the same thing at act 2 bar

1 person stays in act1. The other person goes to act2 with the victim. At Warriv, there is a house. Your friend goes to the top of the house and the victim goes below it. You drop, half way through Your friend starts running back and messages You to come through Warriv and take the other guy's torch. Works well once You get the timing right, also, it helps if You have Vigor.

yeah have you ever seen someone hide's down stair's in the palace.. Then when you guys drop and start to run around the wall the dude come's up and takes the persons item and you go back and grab your's and leave same thing can be done in the sewers too by the dock. there is so many scam's out its not even funny.

EDIT: Dude, all kinds of noobs have torches. I know, because I help them get rid of them. If You're lucky, You may also scam an anni off a noob, but that's really rare.

The only real way to not get scammed is to only trade stuff like that with friends. Just about anyone that wants to trade you for a torch is scammin.

Dude, you don't really get my motive for scamming, do you? Basically, when I play Diablo, I want to have fun. I don't like Diablo for it's boring leveling or such things, so whenever possible, I try to do different things, one of them being scamming. I remember when I restarted on the ladder and the torch business was all new and stuff, I worked my ass off to get some keys and make a Smiter for ubertrist. After like an hour, I managed to do ubertrist with my pala with dire equipment, and my reward was a shit 14-16 necro. On top of that, I got scammed in a torch trade. I was devastated. laugh: For about 10 minutes. Getting scammed is not a big thing, I would have been lucky to get Um for that shit torch anyway, so it wasn't a big thing. Except, I have a friend who managed to scam 12 unid torches, but that's a different topic.

Perhaps Blizzard should keep such things in mind next time and not make drop trades? That's something that I would like to see in the next patch.
