D2 Error

why do i keep getting this error?

ACCESS_VIOLATION (c00000005)

thats what it says, and the title of the window is: Diablo II Exception
i get it after like 2-3 baal games...

Yea I get it once in awhile too when playing in windowed mode, just ususally get mine when I got to the character select screen

ok, im getting it more then ever now, i tried not using mh (i use stings) and it still does it after 2 chaos runs.... i dont know what to do.... any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Try simple things like re starting your computer or re-newing your IP or if you have to, re-install d2.

i get that error wen im getting rushed...after each act of rush my d2 crashes with that error...like wen i complete an act and the part where the movie is supposed to come thats wen i crash...i have "-skiptobnet -w -ns" i sumwhere heard b4 it is coz of -ns(no sound) but i think it is bcoz the windowed mode cant show the movies or sumthin...

ok i still get the error, ive reinstalled it, rebooted my computer, and i dont know how to change my ip address. also sometimes it completely exits when i try to join a game (simmilar to when u alt+F4), and ive reinstalled it like 3 times already. i am completely clueless as to what to do now...
if anyone has a guess to what you do, i am all ears... thanks

well i dunno much bout changing ip adresses but i think /iprelease and another command can do that, but it might mess up sumthing with ur router, im not sure so ask sumone else bout this........well u can do another thing, u can try and use proxies...theres a section bout that on www.new...d2...event.net (remove the "..."s) u have to find it tho lol...basically wat that article talks bout is that u have to get a program and its how u open d2 with another proxy...thats a negative point tho bcoz then proxioes create lag lol...its also how u bypass ipbans and realm downs...
