I know this is gonna sound like a stupid question, but bare /w me I just came back to d2 lol..but uh, what is the diff b/w ladder/non excluding the fact that ladder chars are rated
Cause I heard ladder chars are watched more carefully by bnet, and its more "cleaner", that true?
If so, should I just stick /w ladder?

ladder is more watched but also there are more rw's then, nonladder.. if ur just starting out its better to go with lad

keep in mind that ladder restarts every time they put in a new patch. that means all ur ladder characters and items become nonladder items. your ladder only items don't dissapear when this happens, so there are just a few ladder items in nonladder. they are extremely expensive

Hmm but my ladder chars just become non-ladder in the end then, so I should just stick wit nl?

Just go with ladder it is easier to get rich when you make ladder runewords because you can't make them in non ladder, which makes sense.

You can, but some runewords you can only make in ladder.

NL can't make RWs like... Infinity, Fortitude which owns depending on the was you use it, so yeah i guess that's why Ladder is better

don't forget spirit too lol. but i heard that it's harder to find some things to trade for. like i heard full hammerdin gear was really expensive compared to nl. i like nl cause through a series of trades you can turn 1soj into a lot of sojs. but go ladder, WAY better runewords. and there are uniques that only spawn on ladder too. then when ladder restarts you sell your ladder only stuff and be rich on nl lol.
