Fastest way to level a char?

After 2 years I've decided to dust of the old D2 LoD and want to know the fastest way to level a character. I know the patches put some restrictions on the old classic way to level (cow level) so I want to know the best way to level my chars up before i get back in the game. Also if anyone is willing to help a fellow D2 gamer get back on his feet with items or rushing I would be very grateful and return the favor down the road. Thanks guys!

what is cs? I've been out of the loop so is CS cow stage? Arent there level restrictions these days on where you can level? Like arreats summit at certains levels and u have to be certains levels for baal? Or am i just crazy?

There are a bunch of threads about how to level quickly. Basicly get rushed thru Ancients, then do Chaos runs (Diablo) in act 4 until you get to level 25, then baal runs. Or another way involves getting rushed all the way to hell, by being in act 5 when someone else is doing Baal for quest and getting quest yourself. Then go back and worry about leveling.

I might have some decent gear to get you started, what character are you starting with and what realm you playing in?

i like to get rushed in normal and then lvl to lvl 15 with trist runs and then to 20 with tomb runs and then to 24 with cow runs. and then i baal till lvl 40 so that i wont have to have any one else in the game that needs the baal quest and then i can start doing chaos runs till lvl 60 and then i baal

that doesn't work, chaos runs from 20-25 is extremly slow (slower than normal cows)

u get bugged rush (look under d2 discussion) and lvl from 1-20 in chaos, 21-25 to norm cows, then 26-60 in chaos. after that go for hell ancients and do baal runs.

if u got a rusher u can get to 1-60 in 2-3 hours

What realm do you play on?

CS leveling is only fast if you have a strong character leveling you in an 8 player game (yes, it can be done).

If you want my opinion, B-Rush to hell as lvl 1 char...you'll lvl in chaos runs like crazy till u get to 20. Levels 20 - 25 takes longer leveling than 60 - 85. What i do is be patient and grind out those 5 levels. At lvl 60 you leave, do your hell ancients and baal until ur happy with your lvl. On average it takes me about 3 hrs to fully gear up my lvl 1 char and get him to lvl 85. Hurry b4 they find a way to fix this glitch rush!

its not technically a "glitch", its how they designed the game. so i dont think they are going to fix it

You can do CS runs from XX-60, but you get the most exp when you turn 25.
