btw the Q would just watch a treaty with the empire would be your total submission to the empire
so what if you can take more than one hit to die your being bombarded by enough fire power to take out a planet (as shown in kotor) with just star destroyers not to mention ion cannons

Yeah, Star Destroyers can bombard a planet as well the Death Star just has the power to destroy a planet in one shot. Also, I didn't look through that article again so I might be mistaken, I have read something where it said even the Slave I (Boba Fett's ship) could take down the Enterprise's shields in one shot.

it didnt say it exactly but more or less Slave-1 could own the federation solo most likly. lol a seismic mine is 12000 megatons compared to a 64 megaton phton torpedo that usualy does major damage

this is due to the fact that startrek is less cannon than star wars is, as i said before.
as i also said before these different shows are made to appeal to different audiences.
