botd zerker good dmg high ias 30 to all stats
or a eth zod' headstriker crazy DS
last wish ignore def high dmg might aura 60-70 CB with a hoz/ss

i would rather use grief with hoz/exile/phoenix, helm either coa if you can afford or guilammes or shako(10%dmg reduced)

for belt i would use dungos because fana would give you somewhat enough IAS and i'd perfer BOTDz for weapon...

ok here is the near-perfect zealer gear.
EdeathZ with good ed (350+)
Fort archon
Pheonix Sacred Rondache with 40+res
Dungos (15DR)
20ias/str/res gloves
gores
raven frost/angelic ring
ang ammy
2socket RARE (good mods) Visionary with 2x40-15 or 2x15ias/something good
at lvl 80 with that gear
8.5k to 9.5k zeal
55%Deadly strike
65%Crushing blow
15k AR
15k Def
50%ias without fanact
15%DR
ALL OF THE ABOVE CAN BE GREATLY INCREASED WITH CHARMS
the problem though is that u will only have 15dr, so i suggest using a 40-15ias ss when doing melee
that gear can range from 15hr to over 40 IF ur on ladder
that gear on nl will cost at least a bunch of imps,
(west prices)

lol oh cmon u guys for pvp doom is a pk zealot secret. for other zealers i could own ebotdz cuz i slow them down and do decent dmg still

i would use ebotdz, fort, shako, dungo, dracs.
shields go from cheap to most expensive (all of them have goods/bads)
ss-good dr, few resists, no skills
hoz-skills+resistance, not much more, very expensive for a eth/uped one
exile-life tap, mass defense aura, good base def, up to 45 resists, quite expensive
phenoix-aura, up to 400ed, fire absorb, up to 45 resist, also quite expensive and has bad defense
pick ur choice they all good just depends on ur budget and what ur using for

you wouldn't need so much IAS on the helm because you should be able to get enough from Fanatism so i'd perfer Shaelx2 for FHR and as for shield i'd go with SS the reason for this is because you'd want to max your DR

nonono life tap is what keeps u alive, ss sucks ass. either hoz or exile for nonladder. ebotdz isnt that great, much better out there now.

yaoc1987, don't take this personally, but you are a noob in diablo. You don't know shit about character building, so stop posting guides about it. Even if you did, why post something that has been posted so many times before. It only takes server space. If you have a question, instead of creating a new thread about it, post your questions in an old one, or PM someone, such as the-grim-reaper (the allknowing character builder).
Now why does your guide suck:
1) It's semi incomprehensible. If you want to make a REAL guide, make sure to plan it out neatly.
2) You go for 100 base dex, even though you will max Holy Shiled, use anni, torch and above all, angelic duo.
3) No information whatsoever about breakpoints for IAS and FHR. For example, if you suggest 3 different weapons, you will also have to add what you need in order to achieve the last IAS breakpoint.

that's not a guide you smart aleck... he's listing his pally's stats and asking what gear he should use. by opinions, he means opinions on what gear he should use.
