Dude... NO ONE plays D2 anymore. Fanboys play D2. What makes you think any bitches play anymore? Let alone one who isn't fat. And sorry if you're a *****, but I have a strict no fat chicks rule.

I play D2 sometimes but I can hardly stand it anymore, with 1.11 and all.

Besides, most chicks wouldn't go on the computer to play D2. They'd rather go on AIM or MSN to talk, hang out with their friends at the mall or something, some playing or watching sports, etc.

I agree, most girls do not have time to play so much games CS i understand because it's somewhat fun for all people. =P

It's no longer a matter of whether women play games. It's a matter of if they're hot or not.

I've met, but never did the nasty with, various very very attractive emo/goth/scene girls who were totally into retro games. One was severely addicted to CS. She would spend like her whole check at the local gaming place drinking Bawls and playing CS and RVS.

I mean I don't like them that strange, but I'd like a woo-man who knows how to use a computer and enjoys doing it.

Good luck finding chicas who are active on d2 frequently though

i dont think that girls DONT play d2. just that you think everyone online who doesnt explicitly say they are a girl is a guy. it's not like they'll join a game then say "i'm a chick, tee-hee"

Lol, girl gamers are closet gamers. Because they know of people like this on the internet so they may say they arent chicks.

I have a lady-friend who still plays Diablo 2, but not online. She says people online irritate her. I can't really blame her.

You prolly have to be a female to be able to answer this question correctly, because any male may have personal bias upon the topic.

If you are a subscriber to PC Gamer, there is an article in the new May '06 article on page 18 titled "How to Get Your Girlfriend Playing Videogames", and it deals with four female gamers who talk about how they got interested in gaming. It's pretty interesting. I see one game that kepy on coming up was World of Warcraft. I'm not gunna post the article here, but the four female gamers are:

PC Gamer Wrote:-Katrin Auch/Occupation:Assistant Art Director/Hrs spent playing games weekly: 5-10
-Ashly Jenkins/Occupation:Community Manager ("Frag Doll")/Hrs spent playing games weekly: 15-20
-Skye Woodrum/Occupation:Student/Hrs spent playing games weekly: 16
-Judi Sagami (Mineko)/Occupation:Wine Buyer/Hrs spent playing games weekly: 10-12

Here are a few quotes (all quotes are directly from the female gamers):
PC Gamer Wrote:"The thing to remember is that women don't need to be 'hooked'. We're already gamers. Just show us a good time and we're there."

"When I started, I used to get sexist comments from other players. You just ignore them and get playing."

The next couple of quotes deal with the question:
PC Gamer Wrote:"Why do you think men seem more inclined to get into hardcore PC gaming than women?"

PC Gamer Wrote:"I don't think that's true. The gaming population, as a whole, is growing older. The men who play now grew up knowing that gaming was a viable hobby for them. But now a lot more women are starting to realize that games are a rewarding experience, and adopting the interest accordingly."

"For women, there are just too many things that need to get done in real life - a game just seems like a huge waste of time. But I find it a great escape that lets you feel like you're still getting something done."

"I've heard the theories about some sort of male hormone that makes them better shooters, but of course these theories come from men's heads, so whatever."

"Most women like to have relationships and connect to other people. My favorite times playing MMOs are when I play with my friends online and use Skype to talk while we play. It's social. But until something swings around and it becomes a cool status symbol to game, I don't think you'll see massive numbers of girl gamers. But I think the next generation of women will be very computer savvy. And they'll kick your ass."

(All quoted material is directly from the May 2006 issue of PC Gamer; pages 18-20, and does not include any thoughts from me.)

Most girls just arent into this type of thing, what else is there to say. I've met a few chicks who are into anime, video games, etc.. but they don't let it run their lives like some guys do.
