I heard from someone that both Archon Plates and Mage Plates have a non-visible 1% absorb mod on them, and also that Sacred Armors have a 5% non-visible absorb mod. (Of all elements)
Can anyone confirm or deny this? Please have proof...don't just say yes or no...
Thankz.

yes. it shows in editors and the mpq build filing under armor.bin but its not damage reduce. its absorb. not sure why blizzard built it that way but it is listed in their build under absorb. just not sure what absorb type it is since it doesnt say. just says absorbs #

Well if it was seen in editor then I'm sure it's true.

Well it might just be that the editor is set-up to have that on the armour, though it would sound like something Blizzard would do. If you think about it, sacred armour should have a little more of something other than high def and str req, since it is the most elite armour out there. Also, the archon and mage plates seem like a caster-type armour, hence the names mage and archon, so maybe they do come like that, though I kind of doubt it would actually add the sorb. If it does, it's not like it makes much of a difference.
