Can't get on battle net

i can't get on battle net...it hangs on checking versions when i try to connect...i made it so that all my firewalls that have to do with diablo permit it...so i have no clue what is going on....

If on Windows XP, do you have the windows firewall up?

If you are on router - Check to see if battle net is added

Try shutting down firewalls and see if it goes

mabye uninstall and reinstall mabye thatll help

Just **** firewall i dont use it lol it should work or go to www.battle.net.com download that Regedit thingi -.-

i shut down windows firewall...and permited all the diablo things in norton internet security...and i checked my netgear wireless settings and didn't see anything that blocks me from things

In your router settings, do you have the Battle.net ports allowed? (Should be somewhere in the special applications or applications).

It should have Battle net, with ports 6112. I do not know much about Netgear routers (I use D-Link)

i just got dsl and wanted to play on battle net so i downloaded the patch and it was stuck on checking versions. b4 that i was playing th median mod..would that do anything....i uninstalled it a couple of times and reinstalled it but still the same problem
