Courpsemourne Ornate Plate question

Very cool... I got 1199 Courpsemourne Armor but am unfamiliar with the spell "Courpse Explosion" Is that magic damage or Physical damage? anyone know?

My only experience with it is getting wailed on my Nihlathak before I knew to avoid dead minions. there was nothing I ccould do to defend against it.

btw the way to bypass Nilathak's c.e is too just charge him and have frenzy set. as soon as you're close enough he will not use c.e.

Now if I could get some protection against iron maiden from those damn oblivion knights....

Another thing you have to worry about is your merc. He might leave bodies all over before you even get close to Nihlathak.

It blows the corpse of anyting to bits, some people used to use this in 09. while dueling, bad thing to do to someone, and then they would steal their stuff..The Iron Maiden is a real nice Mod on the armor also, spawns alot and is quite useful.

Hey when you go through the portal and they are sleeping on the ground, runas fast as you can and you will be fine once you pass them...

that begs the question.... i am going to place a socket in it. I have some unique charms but am considering a rune. What would you put in there? I have them all except for zod and ber.

hehe only defense VS Iron Maiden I can think of is a town portal in one of your belt spots
Used to be fun to duel with necro VS Barbs and use Iron Maiden... they may kill me but they die too

i think i saw somewhere else on this site a way, if u are barb, and u get IMed, u can try to defend by casting howl and trying to get the monsters off yo back. another method, one that i usually use, is to stick near the oblivion knights and hope that they cast some other curse on you so that the IM will wear off.....

hmm....yea...i rather they cast depcrep....i can counter that by frenzy...walk run speed a lot faster..... =)

I would heard that stupid sound knowing IM was cast then stand there getting hammered and hope my Amazon Merc would pick them off.

The only reason I even go into Diablo's sanc in Hell is to get a rare or unique for killing him. But doing it guarntees losing 25% of exp for every death.

I'm also pretty ticked at 1.10 planting these uniques bosses who explode when you kill them. Thanks that's real nice. trying to experience up in Ancienty's Way just to have some looser hell Lord blow up in my face and kill me.

btw... I'm a lvl 90 barb with Hand of Justice (RW) and Call to Arms (RW), Corpsmourne, Areat's face and then some orphan's call stuff. Never battlenet'ed. Just a loser single player. Never found a SOJ but man, do I have some cool stuff to trade....

Right now I would give ANYTHING for a 6 socked Colussus Sword so I can make a Breath of the Dying". I have all the runes for it but don't want to put it ina lame phase blade. I think I'll post a new thread on that one.

well... I got a home network with three diablo's tcp/ip'ed so when I find something cool I can store in on another character.

90 Levels with find Item as my secondary and a bunch of % of magic items charms... I get some great stuff...

To be quite honest, i wouldn't put a dime into the Corpsemourne. Instead, I'd save up quite a bit of items I collect and trade them for Stone Armor which is a billion times better to have on a Barbarian.

Its just so damn cool looking. I'm actually wearing Enigma on chaos armor for 1249, but its hard to dump the Corpsemoune (same with the blue Skills of the Ancients).

I'm thinking a skull for replenish life...

Have you ever thought of using Kranken Armor, that has (if you get the good stuff ) over 600 almost 700 Def before you even make the enigma, but if you are playing anything besides Barb or Pally you will take a 10% hit on your stanima...

Good advice.

i considered it... but did not want to wait and find a "white" dropped K-Shell to socket... so i socketed a Chaos that I had stuck away.

Aldur's Advance boots more than take care of the stamina hit.
