Well...I find it mostly funny because B.Net hasn't really kept D2 up like it used to be. Only just tightened grip on hacks and such (btw is really gay because it never hurt anyone). But I do think this attack is wrong, only because I can't play Diablo. Otherwise, I think it's pretty freaking funny. Heh.

From personal knowledge i know nothing will be lost from anyone.
The servers are down yes, but the data is still stored into the servers mainframe. As far as your charecters being expired, I dont think they will because the server isnt active to let it expire.

I don't play D2 but like once every 5 months so a realm being down is no big deal, but the fact that some little shithead comes along and does it out of pure fun and its not a maintenance update or done by blizzard in general makes it just retarded.
