ok...what if u carry 2 diff swords and do ww?will the dmg be both of the swords' dmg added up?or a random dmg by 1 of them?
well...using a sword (with shield ) is just doing the exact dmg as writen on the character screen,but using 2 diff swords writes 2 diff dmg....so which dmg does it do exactly?

i agree with dragon xx
all the times ive used whirlwind with elemental add weapons i believe both where used because you can see them get poisoned from one and recieve cold from another if u used a sword that adds poison and a sword that adds cold.
i could be wrong :o

yes, otherwise what would be the point of using 2 swords? i believe both weapons have the abillity to hit 5x each, however, even when compounded, i believe it's generally better to use a 2handed sword w/2 hands rather than 2, 1 in each, i believe dmg is better... but who knows...

hm...why?When u use 2 diff swords,the dmg will compounded...which i think would be more than the 2 handed sword....

he means 2x2 handed sword....eg grandfather

no he means using 2 swords.
when you use 2 swords, your character does damage for each of them. Since WW makes your character spin, you hit the enemy multiple times, thusly hitting the enemy with both swords.
But im not sure, go ask blizz and see if they can reply to you within a month.

heres the problem with reading some of the stuff online: 1) sometimes they don't say whether it has been updated to 1.10, so i am not sure if the information is still valid or if it is 1.09 stuff, and 2) i don't care for reading that kind of stuff, it got too physiological for me (perhaps its a weekend, so i didnt feel like thinking).

i agree with jedi bout the first part...some of those are outdated...and people dun bother writing if it's 09 or 10....thats ao irritating...

i agree tat it doesnt say when it was updated and also using ww is like double swing(hits 1 sword after the other) except tat it hits more times and hits more enemies
