So, who's a comic geek here? Don't be shy, I'll be the first to admit I love my comics.

I enjoy:

X-Men
Spider-Man
Daredevil
Fantastic Four
Spawn
Star Wars Tales
Tales of the Jedi

Of course there are more that I enjoy but these are my favorite series.

Anyone else out there hate Ultimate as much as I do? One of my biggest things is what they've done to my favorite villains...Doctor Doom, Venom, and Carnage.

Doom - He's not made of metal...he wears a suit of armor to hide a disfigurement, this was a huge part of his character.

Venom - He never needed to eat brains before...also the symbiote is an alien it's not some science experiment that Brock inherited goddamnit. They're making him more of a mindless killer when he used to be a proctector of innocents and fought only those he thought we evil, like Spider-Man.

Carnage - Carnage now does not have the psychotic Cletus Cassidy inside the suit, it has nobody. Carnage is now just the costume and it goes around killing people...they literally made him into a mindless monster.

Post here to complain about story archs or other peeves in comics or just come and tell us which you like etc... Just come talk about comics damnit.

I like some of the Spider-Man comics, I have a couple that are worth a lot. They are holographic issues and they are in mint condition, my god-sister gave them to me.

I enjoy reading x-men comics alot.. but the magazines that i request to come in the mail i usually read comics out of those

oh wow they really killed venom and carnage with that crap and im still waiting on what version of venom you prefer

even though im not a major comic book fan the character themselfs i like ,i've rarly read a comic book ,well other than a old coby of spider man that i lost

I prefer the 616 universe Venom. 616 would the be the normal Marvel continuity so the original Venom basically.

well i cant say that i am a very big comic book fan......growing up id rather play with the figures than read the comics

well i don't read many comics but i'd say i like manga over comics(their the same thing really but manga is more boot-like and has the badass characterisics that is taken out of animes so they can put it on tv)
