44 resists

If you have ALOT of resist i would go with the ED shield, but if your in need of resistance i'd take the 44 res Exile.

44 rez has a lot higher resale.

I really doubt your getting one froma friend...Those stats sound like something you'd get from a store...

Go with the 44 res

Well, I'm getting this from a friend when ladder resets, so I don't see the big deal.

44 res hands down, stacked resists are always good to have.

um you have the pic yet you don't know how much res it has...says 45 resistance. i have an ed one cause i can't afford greif(non ladder) so i like the extra damage and i'll just get torch/anni/scs to get max res. if i were you i'd try to get a vortex one though.

The person who started this thread and me are 2 different people with 2 different friends who have 2 different Exiles. The one he's getting has 44, and the one I'm getting is 45. I posted that Exile to point out that it doesn't take a store to get such a good one.

I believe I've stated many times that vortex shield is the worst choice.

Im saying that if you go to any d2 store theyoffer 44 res and 62% ed exiles.

...

How is evortex is the best shield for exile...

Uh...you mean "worst"?

It has the lowest blocking, the most inconsistent damage, and the highest strength requirement. The extra defense does not make up for it because the defense is not needed.

Arcane, if vortex is not the best shield for Exile, what is? What is wrong with the vortex and what is better with your choice? I am trying to get everything together to make one so if possible I want to start with the best base shield. TY for you opinion.

EDIT: it's all about timing, you were answering my question as I wrote it.

Sacred targe and sacred rondache would be my two top choices. Some people like zakarum shield for the perfectly consistent damage (46-46), but I hate the low blocking. Kurast shield's damage isn't much better than vortex's.
