Vamp on a smiter

ok i'm nl so i don't wanna pay for a coa so should i go with a vamp gaze? 20dr 8/8 leach so not that bad. for res i could throw an um in it or i could add more dr with ber. would vamp work ok on a smiter?

I don't think so. Life leech % doesn't work off smite, only things that give a chance to cast life tap work. Like Dracs

If u cant afford ber/ber coa buy a shako and ber it. Great life, plus skills, dr, mana, u name it secondary best and yet almost most common smiter helm. Dont bother with gaze, gaze is more of a merc helm, or md lvl duel

Shakos and Vampire Gazes both have their ups and downs. I prefer shako for the 2to all skills and the life but the dr is half as gaze's...

IMO i'd use Kira's w/ Shael... just for the max resis and the only souce i get FHR from =/
