Anti-scamming guide

Please read the information below to learn some methods not to get hacked or scammed etc.

WAYS NOT TO GET HACKED THROUGH A DROP TRADE !!!!

1) Try to make out if this player is slow or not.Trade wth a necro but not with a pala because he might not look like fast but he has vigor aura.

2)None of the acts is safe for drop trade.But you have better trade in act 1 or 3 as most people do.

3)Never trade in act 5 near the walls because the other player can grab our item behind the wall.

4)Never trade in act 2 in palace with another ppl for torch or gheeds or anni because a)You will get a crash in desktop and b)Someone can be hiding in the palace and grab your torch,gheeds,anni etc.

5)Same as 4 for reason b.Never trade in act 2 near the sewers becuase there are also rats in there ^^

6)You have better trade same things for example torch for torch or anni for anni etc.Convice the other guy to drop it first or you drop it in a blind.

7)Make a new game for 2 ppl if there are too many guys in your game.

8)Never trade soj or something good for "torch pala 20/20" . It will be 80% an assa 11/11.

9)Don't leave yor item on te ground and start talking the other guy will grab it immediatelly.

10)Drop a potion or a tp first to make sure this guy doesn't have telehack.If he teleports to your potion or your drop then flame him and leave the game.

11)I suggest NOT to have drop trades as they are not supported by blizzard also.

also dont trade with palys and barbarians cause they might have RGX Mod

Even with Charge and Leap in town, they don't make a signifigant enough of a difference. I would be warry of palladins because of Vigor with faster run\walk. Assasians can also move quickly with a skill if I remember correctly.

Move this to General Diablo II, this section doesn't deal with scamming as much, people would look there first. Cool guide

nice post but u should have added never type ur pass and sn ever in a game for wutever reason (/dnd (acc) (pass) scam and always check what ur trading for, and thats about it. GOod job
