#1
When I put my Diablo2 disk in my anti-virus (Symantec) came up with this auto-protect and came up with a spyware (Spyware.Winspy) and it was founs in my Diablo flies (ijl11.dll) nothing bad has happened but it is being quarintined. Does anyone know what this is and/or what is does. I know it moniters imformation coming from your computer like websites and stuff, but what does it have to do with diablo??? I also, think this made my cd-rom drive go out on my Laptop, so anyone with enough insight please help me out, until then i'm not getting on Diablo. It is quratined so no damage can be done right now, someone please help!

Symantec sucks, I will see exactly what that DLL does, but be re-assured that it is clean.

In the meantime, try using AVG Free, nice free AntiVirus, and probably the best one out there, both paid and free.

Ok this is what i have figured out on my own. ijl11.dll is a coomon dll for use with jpegs. I uninstalled my D2 and reinstalled and the dll was missing so i went online downloaded just the dll and it was quarintined for the same reason as my diabo2 dll was. I sent the file into symantec and they sent it back saying it was clean. So the conclusion is that symantec definitions say that dll is infected when it really isn't. Now i gotta do a lot of stuff to fix my diablo. I'll get back when i am done. Wish me luck.
