I'd like to dispell another MF myth

u could just make a char then rush him through the quest to get first drops off them, its not just bnet though it the game

I highly doubt these rumors. Drops are randomly generated. If you read about magic finding and drops, there is no way they can make the game know that it was the first time you killed a boss so you automatically get a unique.

i agree tht drops are randomly generated. my jav zon kill norm and nm baal for the 1st time n by herself but all i get is SH*T!! but as for the "there is no way they can make the game know tht it was the first time you killed a boos" i disagree. blizz can track n record down the number of time u killed a boss its jus tht wheather they wan 2 waste their time or not

i always get good stuff the first kill depending on my char lvl, then crap each kill after

i thought that your mercs magic find followed the following formula: (your mf) + (mercs mf)=mercs mf

well in 09 it did but now i think its just ur merc's equipment for mf
