D2Loader "Key is in Use"

When I'm logged into one diablo2 I can't log into the other window because it says I'm using the key.. I currently have diablo 2 expansion but play classic so I already put in the two keys for expansion and classic but still refuses to let me log into bnet... What am I doing wrong?

you need 2 seperate sets to log on twice. not just one of each

I have Classic Cd-Key and Expansion CD-Key which worked once but now It does the cd-key in use.. It worked "once" thats all.. why is it doing this?

Yea you need 2xclassic keys and 2xExpansion keys to open a second windows of diablo 2

u probably installed it with another key or u were in some wierd condition that it worked for a limited time.

If I have expansion installed can I use two classis keys? If so, how would I do this in the d2loader reg key or "auto-cdkey.reg"?

So I'm going to have to get "TWO" new Cd-Keys of either Expansion or Classic? There is no way where I can use my classic key I already have? Once you upgrade to expansion, it asks for the expansion key so I would think it uses the expansion key and not the classic one? Anyways, please reply and explain a little for me... I've read that d2loader post over and over and am still confused about this.. As I thought I only needed either one expansion key or one classic key as I already have one of each already.. As obtaining another expansion or classic key would get me set..

Also, are the lines in auto-cdkey.reg:

"d2cdkey" = Classic Key?
"d2xcdkey" = Expansion Key?

Or is the "x" just representing the 2nd Key and the first one is representing the 1st key regardless of expansion/classic?

You will need your original Classic\Expansion CD set that you use now to play Diablo II. You will also need another set of different Classic\Expan keys.

After setting up the MPQ file, you can use the second Diablo II shortcut on the desktop to load the extra keys instead of the ones you installed Diablo II with.

The D2CdKey is your second classic cd key, the D2x is your second expanssion. After replacing your D2GFX.dll with this, editing and merging the auto-cdkey.reg reg file, and refilling the keys in the d2-cdkey.exe program following my instructions, you should now be able to use the two Diablo II shortcuts at the same time.

If you followed the guide, you should have TWO shortcuts to Diablo II on the desktop, on one of them, modify the Target in the Properties to look like this.

"*Your Diablo2 File, DO NOT CHANGE THIS*" -mpq cdkey.mpq


If you followed the directions, it should work.

Okay, so all I'll need to do is obtain either one classic or expansion key for me to play on the same realm with two copies? Also, what is d2gfxdll? I haven't put that into my diablo 2 directory yet but I can still run two copies, just can't log into bnet with the other and we already know the reason why.. You need TWO expansion keys and classic keys, the ones you use now to play Diablo II, and ones to run two copies. The D2gfx.dll is a file in the Diablo II folder, you need to replace it with the one from my guide so that you can run more then one Diablo II at the same time... I don't know how you were able to do it without it.
