i was wondering what is the best gear for the act2 nm defesive merc.... i was thinking fort for armor... dont know what else for him... maby delerium or dream for helm?

what kind of char do you have? do you bot/chaos/baal with it/ where do you pvm with it? do you want to glitch it? pvp? do you need/want a specific arua?

need details if you need help depends on what you do with your merc.

nah for a hammerdin you definatly want an insight for the meditation aura it gives your merc

Best solution for Hammerdin is a3 cold merc with Lawbringer, Pheonix, eStone and eAndariel.

Just choose anything for helm and armor, but the Lawbringer (lvl 18 aura must have) and Pheonix combo works great.

I just described the combo above. Give your merc Lawbringer (runeword), this means that all of the undead dolls (and anything undead) cannot attacj you, because they constantly go into their FHR frames. Pheonix (runeword) is needed for the Redemption aura, so that your merc won't die.

edit: Merc bug. Give your merc equipment with stackable auras, such as Dream shield and Dream helm, then just keep reequipping them. This will cause the auras to stack, so it's the same effect as if you were wearing 100 Dream helms. Also works for Holy Fire.

Honestly, try looking it up in the forum, there are like 20 threads on this already.
