If you get that error, you didn't define your keys as like you're asked in the mmbot.ini. Recheck them again or post the part of the mmbot.ini here so I can check it for you.

Either you didnt put the right number in your config for your chaR you are gonna use or like razzor said your keys arent defined. I had a problem with this because it needed N to be clear screen and it was on clear messages. Try and look at that.
