Unfair Situation

Ok, I'm fifteen years old and I'm an honor roll student that makes A's and B's. The problem is that during the week I can't get on my laptop!!! So I'm like WTF!! at my parents they don't do s***. I was just wondering what other people thougth about this situation because I think its unfair (and I'm bored).

No locking software (yet) no but they take it and lock it in their room. They also put moniters on my computers to see where I go, LOL.

Your parents are just doing what they think is best for you. Ask them nicely if there is some way you can get "computer privledges" during the school week. Try the ol' my grades are good and I help out around the house.... is there any way I could "earn" computer time during the week angle. If that doesn't work, suck it up you only have a couple of weeks until summer vacation, then a couple years until college. Right now your parents own you a$$ so just be nice and it will all get better.

are your parents usually on it during the week? if so sneak into there room and Lock it down or just prevent them from using it productivly

I'm glad my parents cut back my computer time when I was younger, kept me from becoming a complete social recluse.

Thats why you just get more comp smart than your parents, if they have it keylogged then you can just find the log file and change it with notepad. Clear your history, cookies, temp internet files.

I know how to cover my tracks well enough, the problem is that my parents think I hae no self control and I'll end up like a social recluse like AlmostDeadly said. I have other things I like to do with my time but ofc parents are single minded.

How often to you play each week?

During the winter I could do about two hours of it a day, a little more on the weekends, but right now I am not on a whole lot, been pretty busy latley.

Heh, speaking of being smarter then you parents, my mom one time put on a block that is built into the internet explorer (only lets you on 'certified' sites, effectively castrating my web-browsing abilities). I guessed the password in under twenty minutes, it was my brother's middle name.

lol im 15 almost 16 and i bough my own comp for $2000 plus i pay for my Cell and for my internet cuz my parents are ****
