Even if it is undectable it doesnt meen its 100% for sure, blizzard might catch you using it, I think this can be dectable in a way because even someone notices that you know what torch they have they can report you for it of using hacks, best not to tell anyone that you have it, you can also report them for scamming to. But as far as i know everyone keeps saying blizzard gave up.
Not many people even do these trades neither. Serious scammers are good.

Nobody reports anyone successfully on Diablo 2, they all are ignored or answered with an automated message. If the forum you downloaded it from says it is detectable I would'nt use it.

If you check my D2Loader guide, it is not currently detectable, but may be detected in the future

If you have any d2loader or d2loader plugin questions, reply in my guide and I can help you out. (The link is in my signature)

I think its the matter on how long you use it. If you don't use if for a while, you won't get caught.

Look guys anything you download that alters the game in some way always has a % of getting you caught. I put the id thing up to make drop trades easier- IMO not by much but a little

Sorry, but these are totally false. If Blizzard detects the program and considers it to be a violation of the BattleNet rules (which for many hacks is not the case), there will be consequences. How often you use the program has nothing to do with it, and if you use this the plugin is uses on every game you enter or create.

What seems odd about this is it helps you from getting scammed by scammers, but as blizz says, if you use any 3rd party program and they catch you, you will be banned!

Dunno how that got there, anyway my bad

im just telling u guys now....its not a anti-scam helper...the whole plugin is a scam itself lol....me along witha few freinds, and a few ppl on the d2s forums, have all gotten our accounts completed cleaned out, password's changed, inventory/gear stripped. I suggest u dont use this program, and just go back to the old method of ubering until u find ur torch.

Being banned is a consequence. A consequence means something bad that happens for something that you have done.

Can you post some evidence of this? I reversed the dll and it's so small, theres nowhere that looks even remotely suspicious. Perhaps you are a scammer and don't want people using this? Smile

I have been using this torch id and my account was hacked. Streetsoldir707 might be right. All of my characters were stripped but my password wasn't changed. I don't know if it is from the hack but shit happens...

Where did you download it from, the site at http://r-1.ch/ (official R1chs hacks) is clean, I just downloaded it from there 20 minutes ago to check this claim, the disassembly checks out. Maybe someone hosted trojan/keylogger version elsewhere. Always check your download sites to make sure they are the official ones!

The link my D2Loader is from the program, posted by R1ch, on Edge of Nowhere. I have not had my accounts stripped at all, and judging by the size of the dll file and the fact that it does work, that does not leave much room for a password stealer\keylogger.

I just don't think that it is from that Imort... maybe you have a keylogger on your computer.

belive me, i knew thats what u guys woulda said, im not computer newb, i do alot of cleaning on my computer, strict programs only old versions of aim, and steam (^_^), spybot, and symnantec, i have no malicious programs , or keyloggers/ spammers/ and OR spyware, maybe u guys wre just lucky of not getting scammed? and by the way, madder , im not a scammer, and i did not develop the program, so plz no pointing fingers at me of accusations (^_^), but yeah, i had my password changed to complete gibberish, when ig ot my original pass from bnet, ****ed up lolz , and by the way, i downloaded torchID from d2sector, which i trusted, or at least i thought i did

The download on d2sector.net is clean too (it's unmodified from the official one). I don't know what you got hacked by, but it certainly wasn't this plugin.

Not that my personal opinion bears any more merit than the next but if you ask me I think there's going to be a blatant unanimous banning of everyone they can detect using TorchID specifically because of Blizzard's very clearly cut stance on drop trading & how torches & anni's are supposed to be things earned not traded which is why you can't put them into a trade window.

No? That's not why? They prevented the charms from being put into trade windows to thwart hoarding & a new breed of currency? Hardly..I think what players would do with the charms if they had the ability to trade them is far less of a concern than Blizzard Entertainment rolling over & saying ok fine you're all right there's no sense playing the game to play the game & enjoy the legitimacy of it in its entirety.

Also I predict the major smackdown will come from an indexing of pissed/paranoid folks reporting the egotistical kids who not only tell everyone they're using the hack..but make outlandish claims like it being a private file they created & how Blizzard will never stop them & their foolproof anti-detections.

This file while indeed useful for those who ambition to drop trade consistently should plan on a not so nice login experience in the future. It would last a great deal longer if people kept their mouths shut & enjoyed it for its intended purpose..if you go into a torch trade..& see someone trying to misrepresent the torch they have..just leave..no need to say "Haha nice try..That's a necromancer torch ****erino" & then get into a big discussion about how they know that

Thats my story & I'm sticking to it

Outstanding post. It might take quite a while for Blizzard to get around to issuing bans (just look at how long people have been glitched mercs, all it would take is a quick fix to stop that), but I do also think that some day in the future TorchID will send your CD keys packing. As I said in my guide and here, safe now, maybe not safe in the future.
