Circuit City makes me mad
#1
I just got 4 new interior door Pioneer speakers installed at Circuit City. On my way home my gf and I noticed rattling. I said to myself "Damn, are the speakers bad?" So i mess with my CD deck sound modes and still get the rattling at decently high music. I was getting extremely pissed because I thought it was my speakers. then i messed with the setting again and same sound. when i got home i pulled in the driveway and thought of something "maybe something on the door is loose" I was right...on the right side both front and back the window hinges were loose. The front one popped right into place when i placed pressure, but the back one was completely off the door on the floor. I looked more into it and the guy had broken my hinge.furious3: I had just gotten this car about a month ago...I'm pissed...does anyone think they will do anything to fix it?

It's got a warranty if you bought it new. Go redeem your warranty service.

Yes. Don't take it to anyone else, just take your car right back to them. Don't say anything incriminating like you checked it yourself, then they'll probably claim that you broke it.
If they still don't back down then get it fixed by the dealer, pay for it, give them the bill and ask them to either refund you the money or put it towards your card or whatever. And beyond that if they still refuse there is small claims court (if your in the states), but I'm fairly sure a large store like Circut City will be pretty forgiving on matters like that, I'm sure it happens alot of the time, as most those large franchises are insured up the butt.
When I worked at Jiffy Lube (worst two years of my life) we'd get blamed for a lot of things that weren't really our fault (engine knocks, stripped plugs, leaks etc) but we still wound up covering most the expenses.

they were aware of it, but they were hoping you wouldnt notice........and yes they will usually fix it. but sometimes those hinges are hard as *** to find

Yeah, I went back right in the morning when they opened. They had broke the clip that snaps the hinge onto the door. So the man working there in the morning said he had an extra clip (lucky) and clipped it right back on for me. I feel a lot better now and the sound is clear (I love music).

Oh Yeah Almost. I believe you when you said Jiffy Lube was your worst two year job. I was with my dad and he was getting the oil changed (he's lazy) and this woman was yelling at the manager because she noticed a leak. The best part was she said it was a Transmission leak from the service she had previously gotten. The manager went out with her right behind him breathing down his neck and I noticed it was a Anti-Freeze leak. So she yelled at him for no reason for about 10 min.
