its not that i dont want to, its more because its not worth my money, i only want to play diablo II because im waiting for the WoW expansion to be realesed in canada. So really there would be no point for me to buy a game just for the cdkey that i will barely play.

if its a game he'll play for a week then you'd have to be an idiot to buy it, even if its for 20$ which it'll be like 25$ if he lives in canada

If your not willing to pay for the game, then you don't really want to play it.
Also, Battle.Net stays free 'cause people are still buying the game, that's woth the $20 in my opinion.
If it's not worth buying, then don't buy it. Go buy somehthing else, or sit and twidle your thumbs.

The game devs only make money off the sales of the game. At 20 bucks a game, that is split into production, development, the mother company (vivendi) and all of the other things the videogame has to go through. Then you figure that Blizzard has kept Battle.net up for free for so long. They make relatively nothing on Diablo.

Quit being a cheapskate and get a CDkey. I have personally bought 3 copies of the game, because it's fun. 20$ to buy Diablo while you wait for Burning Crusade isn't a stupid idea, because we shouldn't be expecting to see that out until Christmas anyway.

If you are a WoW player already, though - just wait until next patch. Naxxramas, a new 40 man instance will be out and will tie everyone over until BC comes out.

If you're quitting until BC, go buy D2 for 20 bucks and wait. If not, shut the **** up and quit your whining because you can't get every game for free.
