if you use heroeditor on open bnet

well im new to this whole cheating thing, i dont want to ruin it for everyone in closed bnet so i thought of cheating in open bnet, can you still get banned for using heroeditor in open bnet?
and if this is the wrong place to post this im sorry, but this is the only place i thought would be the correct one.

you cant get banned for the use of any hacks on open battle.net, thats why its there, for people who like playing with hacks, but since hacks are illegal on closed they made open.

yes they are lying.. hacked items cant exist on closed..unless people developed a way to do it...

You can, but you run a risk of being detected and getting banned.

yes, and hacked items are on closed, i dont know how they make them, but plenty of ppl have showen me their hacked gear on it.
