Ok, i need help picking out my act 2 holy freeze merc stuff..... here's what im thinking for now (i'm not very rich at all)
*Upped Shaftstop
*Reaper's Toll
Now i need a helm. I was thinking i could use my Vamp Gaze, but what's the best for the mercs? Remember i dont have access to the super good stuff.

anything with lifesteal/knockback/poison damage.
poison damage is huge, because the characters don't actually poison anything, it just pumps their physical damage up that much!! makes perfect emeralds good for something

i dunno how rich you are, and i dunno what class ur char is, but cant u just put a doom polearm on ur merc, and then u can pick a might merc or something like that?

agree
might merc with a doom weapon is good
if you can affort just give him the chain of honor as well which can boost his skill and resist as well
also the unique demonhead as well +skill & life steal
