its not like hes an uber mf guy(i think). i guess he has a sorta high lvl so he CAN drop some stuff but he never does for me. and you know if you kill cow king you can't make portals right(not to mention you can screw you party if you kill while you're partied to them)?

i believe he can drop hrs, but i'm not sure. and if u use d2 loader u can have 1 char thats killed cow then have another one come in and make cows then leave, then it wont affect anyone if u kill the king

i'm not sure how good cow king is for mfen but i know hell cows can drop about anything

i have heard king is the best to kill if you want to get anything from Hoz's to shakos

Cows are clvl 81 - so there's very little they can't drop. Although the king seems to enjoy droping alot of green (set) items which pretty much suck.

yeah like the king cow set lol. i guess he might not be that bad to mf but i'd do it to mf the cows more(300cows have better chance of dropping something good than cow king)

Any monster in hell can drop HRs.

The Cow King is in another treasure class then the rest of the cows isn't he? He always seems to drop better things in general

the highest rune i had droped from a monster was a gul from countess but cows drop goods i always get good charms and ss and some puls when i bot

Usually my strategy would be just kill the regular cows with my lite sorc (whom made cows), and if I really want I would switch to my blizz sorc (mf) and kill cow (which I would first check if he's cold immune before I switched). Personally, I've never found much of anything from the King, unless you want to get around 6 stamina pots because many times he'll drop a whole bunch of them upon death.

Yea there's just a better chance of getting something from a cow than the king and better yet, if you don't kill the king you can still make cows and not have to go through the hassle of making cows then switching chars.

Incase anyone here did not know...

If someone kills the Cow King in a public game and they have already killed King on that difficulty at a different time, no one in the game loses the abillity to create cow portals.

Ok Cows can drop any rune countess can only drop up to a vex rune, Cow king is the best to dropping hoz's and shakos anything along those lines
