what is the chat gem for? ive played diablo for 3 years and ive never wonder until now?

This question pops every couple of weeks, and if it does do anything then nobody knows or has found out yet.

People speculate that it is an unimplimented feature, that may do something in the future, or was meant to do something when D2 was being designed but was never completed.

Nobody knows, probably doesn't mean anything.

if u click it a shitload of times, it will go "perfect gem activated" and then nothing will happen either
i think blizz made it so people like u would make threads like this in every forum for d2 and not use the search button to find their answer

has anyone tried killing anything after it says perfect gem activated. maybe you get better drops from forge. i don't know i didn't know it was there. i guess i'll go try it.
