There was a post that started getting off topic about things people found that supposedly aren't possible to find. Was my fault for gettin off topic, i do apologize. I looked around for a few minutes and sure enough getting off topic has been posted as a thing not to do in the faq section.

Anyway, i want people to post honest items that they've found in closed bnet realms that "shouldn't" have been found according to guides. I like the idea that not everythign is known about this game and surprises still happen.

I gambled an soj in a version that a guide told me was impossible. It was a long time ago but i'm certain about it. I think i gambled the soj in 1.09 but i'm really not sure. This was in classic as well so maybe that's why it happened but the guide i read didnt' distinguish between classic and LOD.

Also, about hellforge. The highest i've found was a gul and i also found an ist.

The guide was wrong, it is possible to gamle set/unique items. I have gambeled a Raven Frost, for example, but a friend of mine got Griffon's.

There are really no strange drops. HRs can drop as early as late nightmare, and any monster in Hell can drop any rune, as far as I am concerned.

However, I have to admit that some drops come as a "surprise". I got Zaka from Treehead Woodfist, Zaka from Summoner, BK4 from Summoner, etc. A friend of mine got a SoJ from Griswold (all of these were in Hell).

I found an ist off a devil kin, and a vex rune in a chest in the tamoe highland so i guess that says something about things dropping.
