Where did you guys get your names?

Where did you guys get your user names? I.. just thought of Divine and said what the heck I might as well use it. Im really bad at names. If I become anything else in the future ( e.g. super mod.. mod... ) i might change it. Or if i ever get enough points to change it i probably will.

funny story. my name is fred so when i was in elementary school, my friends called me freddy krueger like from the horror movies. around sixth grade we were at a basketball camp at a middle school whose mascot happened to be a cougar. so they would call me freddy cougar for fun. one day at camp, we were playing knockout and i was doing phenomenal, putting shots in like well...a machine. so my friends were cheering me on and called me thecougarmachine. i've used that name on pretty much everything now, however, when i came to d2sector as it was known back then, i found that i couldnt fit the entire name in so i decided to shorten it to DaCougarMech. i still use TheCougarMachine when it fits. anyway, there you go

it all started when i found that mathalamew is a long form of matthew i used that for a while then i made up the name mathalamus it sounded cool so i integrated it into my identity

My WM is from a great clan (group) in one of the first games I played (MechCommander Gold). The Hunter was my choice, the WM actually stood for Widow Maker. I kept the name after leaving the game so people that knew me by that name would know who I am when they see me, and it just kind of evolved from there.

So, bottom line: it is half an honor kind of thing to my first game while being a cool name by itself with a kind of hidden meaning = )
