LOTS even as much as forcing a person to hit accept on a trade window, but it will almost instantly get you banned.

My friend was quitting Diablo II completely and he let me come over to his house. I had no use for another keyset so me and him decided to have some fun.

For a breif shinning 2 hours or so we were hacking the shit out of Diablo II... ban stick crashed down but the packet sending did work, we were also using some public dupe methods and other stuff... had a blast. Using a lot of accept-trade packets we went from total godly to banned.

btw a ban, even the worst, is only in current server (gateway), not all, right? and whos the worst ban, ip ban for ever? in this case even if u get another cd-key u cant play, right?

Yeah, I do think in serious cases they even ban the MAC address (instead of IP) of your computer, but you can change that without too many problems.

you can read or send a feed through packets but the updates they've been doing on warden could be for the worst, they are planning on banning not just on ip and cd key now. they plan on banning though harddrive macid and harddrive serial. I guess they are getting smarter.

as for packets, if you can read them from asci1-4, you can actually alter item count if its in quantity and lock a packet to hold a quantity. Downside to some packets is, the feed can be reversed and either freeze the person or completly lock them out depending on servers portline setup. (usually unix can do a reversed lock).
