world of starcraft

World of warcraft is a massive hit, with thousands of players. if blizzard came out with world of starcraft would you play? does anybody know if blizz is going to make it?

No, because it doesn't have as much of a fantasy setting as WoW if you ask me. WoW works because it has spells. That's what RPGs do. I don't see WoS working out in a similar fashion, although it would definitely be interesting to see it.

Well Blizzard had showed pictures (and trailers too i think) of a World of Starcraft (probably not actual name ) with marines and other goodies in it. But it was meant as an April Fools joke (posted on April Fools day too). Oh well, when i read it i was like : No way! After a few days many people also found out that it was just a joke = (

i play starcraft because it's simple and after over 10 years it's still the best game i've ever played. shit graphics and all, starcraft is still very fun.

i would not play world of starcraft because it's essentially exploiting fans of playing a totally different game with the same name. had a starcraft 2 came out (new races, interactive environments, better graphics, larger online games, etc) i would most definitely buy it and probably even pay to play online.

starcraft wouldn't be good in rpg, because it's set in the future and would traditionally destroy the rpg code. just as sarcasm said, i much rather see starcraft 2 because it will do much better in rts

I would not play!
Cmon Wow is over rated with its low gfx and the fact that you need to pay money to play.
Its such a stupid system i mean you pay for "time to play" but the time is running allways so they are not giving the time you have bought.
The time you pay for shuld only be used when you are online.

My point is that world of starcraft will be the same but with something simular to star-trek.
