d2 loader again please help

i got the d2 loader hack copuase i dont have my d2 play disk with me, but i have the diablo2 cd case (so i have the cd key) anyways i got the d2 loader hack and i think i put it in the d2 directory like it said but when i clikc to open it it loads for a few seconds and then nothing happens.....
please help me thanks
