cd keys

ok, now ive used a normal diablo 2 cd key, then upgraded to expension ok? since im using an expansion cd key, if i gave my friend the cd key for the non expension cd key, would we be able to play at the same time? i hope this isnt confusing...

No, I belive your Diablo II application uses both keys when you play. I tried this before, your freind wont be able to sign on...it'll just say that the key is in use by you or whatever you named your key.

ugh, thanks. my brother has been looking online for cd keys but he says everytime he trys to use one, they all say he needs that disc. hows that possible? i lost my cd key and just got another one off my friend and i used a different disc.

The disc doesn't do anything...as far as key's go. A CDKEY is just issued from Battle.net, and get's logged in when it's in use, and when it's not. Or Banned (which you cant use on closed).

why do people think that keys they "find online" will work? you have to buy working keys.

Yes, you need 2 independent keys to work Diablo 2. Also I could never get burned cds to run Diablo 2. (I got error saying there was no disc inserted.) Don't bother trying to find a key on the net. People probably try those keys 9391 times a day. www.serials.ws is the best I have used for other apps. (Blizzard games are too popular.)

if u really need, try buying d2, get key, return it . sucks for the sucker that buys the same disc u return though



just buy it -.- thats the most guaranteed way your buddy will play w/ u -.-. only cost 20 bux ....

Places such as Wal-Mart and most other electronics dealers no longer take returns on software for that exact reason.
