yet another smiter Question

alright well it's come down to my weapon. Do I want a LW for him. Or do i want to hunt down a Grief. BC a Last wish for me would be a lot easier but if it's not going to be any good than you know. well i'm USEAST NONLADDER SC.Please leave feedback.

All weapons that depend on +xx% damage are useless for smite therefore, even a shitty grief would do or any weapon with +damage like the unique caddy.

Last wish is ok for doing ubers and for general 1vmonsters gaming but as soon as you have a full game cb effectiveness decreases dramatically and damage becomes more important.

get last wish.. beter for ubers ive used them both.. since last wish has Fade you can stack some res against mephs Conviction and the might aura will add a few hunder damage ( or more depending on currecnt damage) but grief is good also since the venom...and the "hidden" damage

I made two smiters each slightly different and I liked greif pb more then LWZ. I just traded for a treachery armor and went to cayon of the magi and let monsters hit me until I faded. Also IMO pcombs are a waste get 10-15% all rec gcs and 5% fhr stack res that way and you can hit the next breakpoint 4 fhr.

on smiter i never got pcomb.. its just you dont have to max smite either you can be a zealer as long as you have the skill and the proper items you will manage just fine just get some res and hit recovery... treachery? it gives fade? but last wish has more damage then grief... iono its more expensive also.

the ubers thing is ridiculous. im using grief pb for ubers and exile and the ubers are EZ, i dont even want a last wish. and people say oh well i can do 10 min ubers with last wish. that doesnt matter cuz i never died from meph and it only took me 15 min to do all the ubers. now 5 min extra time is worth 4 extra hrs. plus last wish isnt made for pvp it would suck. now tell me why you would still use a last wish.

Griefs are more expencive than shitty lws on nl.

Yeah if you are poor, othervise just make pvp smiter and ubers are ez because of massive damage, nn cb for them.

wow it takes u 15 mins to do ubers? damn no offense but ur character sucks
my old smiter did ubers in 3 minutes... he used grief, coh, eexile, coa, and the usual rest

grief and lw are kinda equal in pvp, but in pvm u can use LW without having to sacrifice any gear to get CB, since 60-70% is more than enough to take out ubers with no problem

why would u use resist gcs?? any GOOD smiter will have already more than 80% resists in hell, and no one stacks with resist gcs, thats just stupid..
Pcombats are the ONLY way to increase ur dmg with charms, and its worth it especially if u use grief

i've been reading these forums in archives for the past 2 months, and recently figured out how to post a few when they aren't blocked while at work. Loits and Frater seem to be some of teh few who actually know about the game and have obviously done some research on builds/gear/skills etc.

Invisible, Lynch and L4E you guys never cease to amaze me with your comments. It makes me cringe when i read a post from you. You three seem to think you know so much about the game, then you leave posts like this.

LW has to be one of the worst PvP weapons for a smiter, and i have NEVER seen it used be a good dueler on ANY class.. barb, kicksin, smiter, or druid...

The kid never siad anything about Ubers... if it's FOR ubers, i have to agree that LW is the best wpn IMO.. allows you to use just about any other gear (although i like my 2sock Hnvs Light Ber Shael). If it is for PvP .. LW sucks horribly... HORRIBLY. Ur better off getting a grief PB if you want speed or BA for range (although not sure if smite has set range), and an Engima to tele on top and smite. Only way smiters are good PvP are in BM duels... you sorb the crap outa someone and tele smite them. Only way I've seen smiters effective... or by dsynch, take your pick. The tele was on Phillyfan, one of the best BvCs on useast, well respected B.net forumer, very rich player. He has 1 40life pcombat.. the rest 20life scs for Dueling...

Stick to reading Loits' post and if Frater of Angle posts, then read theirs, also, do some research on other forums such as B.Net and jsp... dont' just go from ppl on here, if you took the time to read some of the guides written on the new guide section, you would see why i say to go to other forums..

And yes, a good grief is WAY more exp than a crap LW, which is all you need for Ubers..
