Its in the unique items in 1.11 changes. Ive never seen them before has anyone ever owned a pair? I have them on open but thats it.

those arent the right boots, apparently there are boots called merman sprocket but their myrmidon boots or something like that

they are not real boots you can't find them in game. The only refernce to them is Merman's Speed in the mpq's and they have no stats. Just one of the many unused uniques in diablo.

They exist in the game data files, but have been disabled from dropping. It's as simple as changing an integer so that you can trade annis in the trade window.

no one has them in game that is correct, those boots are TOO godly too be allowed on the realms so blizz disabled the drop rate for them

No they dont even exist in the mpq's it's just an entry called Mermans Speed it has no stats no item type its just a name that hasn't been used. I mod these files and ive looked through them these boots do not exist in any shape or form, they are not real it's either photoshoped or just made with a modified uniques.txt in the data folder.

In the patchstrings table mermans speed might be Mermans Sprocket since a few unqiues have a differnt name in the two files but there is no relation between them having those stats o'r even being boots.
