Passion
#1
This is a poem I wrote quite awhile ago. I thought I would share it as it is one of my published works. You can find it in The International Library of Poetry. Enjoy!

Shimmering on the edge of souls…the sweet kiss of love awaits
Elusive....and yet all consuming to the open heart
To capture the sweet kiss of love …my desire would abate….
Nay….for in the heat of love passion would start.
Consuming and burning…my body awaits….
Captured in this sweet dying…this fire…my heart….
So a circle of love and passion we create…
To chase our souls around in emotion…
Grasping the love….the passion and yet…
Is this just my own foolish notion?
I will follow this circle of life, and fire and love.
And allow passion to open my soul to the unknown….
Feeling the joys and pains…as if gentle touches of…..
Soft kisses in secret…filling my heart…tis done….
Now being lost…the heart taken away…. but at what cost?

Desire Unfulfilled

Is there no rest for the troubled lonely heart?
No succor for the soul of a woman wanting?
How very long, in desperation, seeking now to start…
This sweet, and yet…bitter desire for love is haunting.
Trembling on the very edge of a dark abyss...
Clinging to the image of sweet loves warm embrace.
Wanting him more…desiring his tentative kiss…
Sweet thoughts of holding him…touching his face.
Wishing only to tell him of her love, sweet desire...
Somehow unable in clumsy words to convey………
How much her heart yearns to set his passion afire!
Lapsing into soul deep sadness, her heart stays
Longing always to spark desires flame in his eyes.
Shivering in response to his imagined feeling…
Her own body trembles….passionate thoughts arise.

He feels not the same ….leaving her heart reeling…
So with uncaring rejections job done…
She aches all alone…his heart not won…

It is a sad poem.

*Blush* Thank you so much! It is always nice to see that another has enjoyed what you have written !
I also enjoy roleplay type stories, and short stories....let me dig up a battle I was once in on another forum and see what you think...
Ok found a part of a battle I had with someone ...it was a tournament and Apoc was a partial vampire and had *tasted * my blood ...I Am Elven royalty...this is the next bout of that fight.
*Rolling away from Apoc, she struggles to her knees….trembling and slightly weakened*
*Hearing his words has caused her anger to rage beyond all she has known before!*
*Pamela chants softly …fury causing her powers to increase …reaching deep within for the strength to put an end to this fight*
*One hand still on the ground supporting her, she sways very slightly, and raises her other arm before her straight at Apoc*
*Blue flames stream down her arm and hit him in his chest…he is stunned and he locks his gaze with Pamela*
*Calling on the power of the element of Earth….her eyes roll back in her head*
*The earth erupts in front of him and he is pummeled by rocks and debris….which cause him to look away*
*Grabbing her sword she rises up and in the same motion hurls her sword at her opponent*
*Being stunned and still in the power of her blue flame ….Apoc is not able to deflect the weapon as it pierces his shoulder…pinning him to the wall of the arena!*
*Advancing on him quickly…she grabs him by his throat and begins to squeeze until Apoc is still*
*Apoc is apparently unconscious. Not moving and still pinned to the wall *
*Pamela steps away and sees that Apoc has begun to stir…he raises his head and looks at her from across the arena*
So you liked the taste of Elven blood did you?....Did you also enjoy the caress of my sword as well?
*Tossing her hair ….she fixes Apoc with a triumphant look and a slight smile plays at her lips*
*Glancing at Maiki….she again looks to Apoc*
Is this all you have?*she taunts*……..

Welcome back Pam. I can see you will add (or bring back) a new dimension to this forum. Nice poems. I read them as blue and lonely, but not bitter; nicely done.

Certainly we can! I enjoy it very much! Thank you for the compliments ^^ This is the character I use for Roleplay.Take a look and see what you think. I will then post more of my battles.

Pamela is an Elf Princess...standing a mere 5 feet tall ....and yet having an elegant almost waif like appearance. Her raven colored hair flows freely down her back to below her waist...and is
interspersed with streaks of midnight blue.Pamela has an ethereal
grace and timeless manner...for she is over 2000 years old..immortal.

You notice first the eyes...when calm they appear to be almost black.
But in acts of conjuring...or anger...they flash over to a bright crimson....and then a dark red.

She wears a simple tunic of dark green ..with embroidered silk edges.
Bearing the emblem of her royalty. Her pants are the softest most supple leather, died dark brown, and her boots are finely fitting and well worn. She carries the *Sword Of The Ages*as well as owning many other fine blades gifted to her over the centuries. She wears the armor of the Queen Of The Elfs...and carries a long bow ..and enchanted arrows.

Pamela is a powerful Mage and has extensive knowledge of magic..She owns a variety of very powerful magic artifacts.
She also commands an army...and trains at a dojo to better her personal fighting skills.

Her manner is to take charge...and she is a relentless opponent when angered.Pamela is a loyal and fierce ally...never leaving her friends in doubt of her being there to protect or defend them!....She is still an enigma...as her past is long and tortured.....
Being an Elvish Princess...she is not easily swayed in matters of the heart....
Pamela chooses her own path...her destiny is in her own hands.......

To say that she is good at heart would be accurate ...as Pamela strives to follow her own sense of honor....and being an immortal and timeless creature...she has had many interesting adventures.....and many fierce battles!...Pamela Is the last of her kind...now she wanders the many lands...ever Questing....

I hope you enjoyed the description! I will post the begining of that particular battle soon.As for Roleplay I do quite a bit of it in My Bar.
