I say it's your fault for breaking the rules, but I also think maphack shouldn't be a bannable offence, because as I've argued before it's like having a map to go on a road in real life.

anyways, anyone who took the chance on the bots and got banned, your fault.. don't cry.

also ZacC, the fact that you would laugh at someone because they use a maphack and a bot, because they have other things to do then diablo2, makes me laugh at you. you're probrably a nerd who sits around playing diablo2 and talking to the screen like it's your only friend.

ok, does anybody know exactly what programs were causing the bans? I haven't been on in several days so I don't know if I got hit or not.

Anybody get banned for using Loader only?

I ran mm.bot but not since early June so that might be safe? And I do (did) use Sting's (Reveal Only). I will delete the MH and copy my bot to CD (in case I can use it at a later date). I would really like to keep the Loader though because I HATE the cd player spinning all the time.

for those who used jsp, and NOT maphack, you are wrong. d2jsp has a maphack built into it., there fore they found both bot and jsp.

TY. I haven't run the bot in a while and I used only "Reveal Act". From what I can piece together from here and a few other places I should be ok. I will check as soon as I get home though.

Yippee! Here is what I got. All my accounts are fine; intact. I was out of town all weekend so didn't play at all since last Wednesday or Thursday. I have been consistantly using D2Loader because I hate having the cd spin up all the time. I have been consistantly using Sting's MH; Reveal Act only. I have not used my mm.bot since June because all the lag sucked and I went from a cable modem to DSL when I moved.

So either I am lucky or those that got banned were using more than I was.

If anyone that got banned gets back on and needs some free stuff, what I have isn't really that good but I will help anyone I can with over 100 posts. PM me here.
