Okay. FOB is not emo, it's pop. The term emo was used to describe bands such as FUGAZI and Rites of Spring. Now it's been altered to encompass almost every new band and the type of fashions associated with it. All the bands that everyone refers to as "emo" really are just the new pop bands of this era.

no ragnarox, Justin Timberlake is pop, Nelly Furtado is pop, FOB is old and emo. The term emo has slightly changed over the years, now it means any wanna-be rock band that sucks (in very blunt terms that is).

And pant i guess you're right, the record label probably does have a lot to do with this =/

Although I don't listen to Justin Timberlake...He sounds like he's hip or something. And I don't think fob is that old(there like from 2000 aren't they?)...but I might be wrong on that. And all the bands that are called "emo" are usually labeled as "Pop punk". It may not be the bubblegum music of the 90's but it still pop music.
